Cyber Insurance Event

You've probably heard of cyber insurance, but do you know what protections and services actually come with a policy? Cyber policies are quickly going from "optional" to "mandatory" as more companies are requiring their vendors to be covered due to the increase in supply chain attacks.

For companies who've yet to adopt a cyber insurance policy, there are many questions surrounding what cyber insurance is and what is required to get approved for a policy.

Join our vCISO, Mishaal Khan, and Cyber Insurance Group Leader at Sunstar Insurance, Charlie Stenger, for a conversation about cyber insurance. Here’s what you can expect to learn:

  • Why cyber insurance is being required
  • What are the actual  requirements set by insurers to secure a policy
  • Changes in policy pricing
  • Cybersecurity before and after breach services
  • How to determine where you stand if you’re being required to secure a cyber insurance policy

This is not your typical presentation, but a Q&A, fluid conversation between two experts in their respective fields sharing their experiences. We strongly encourage asking questions throughout this session, so bring your toughest questions—they're happy to answer!

Cyber Statistics:

  • In a survey done by Advisor Smith, surveyors found that while only 17% of small-to-medium businesses have cyber coverage, 69% of them were concerned about being a victim of a cyber attack.

  • 48% of small-to-medium businesses surveyed by AppRiver indicated that "a major data breach would likely shut down their business permanently."

  • An article published by Forbes showed that the cost to recover from a cybersecurity incident for small to mid-sized businesses was approximately $352,000—not including damages to reputation.
